Our client is seeking an experienced Remote Interim Controller to provide maternity leave coverage beginning in the first or second week of October and continuing through the first week of January. This part-time remote engagement is expected to average approximately 25 hours per week, with some flexibility depending on the month-end close schedule and business needs. Reporting to the VP of Operations, the Interim Controller will oversee the month-end close process, including preparing and posting accrual entries, completing balance sheet and bank reconciliations, processing commissions through Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, and providing finalized financial statements to the CEO. The Controller will supervise an experienced team consisting of an AP Accountant, AR Accountant, and AR Collections Specialist, primarily serving as a resource for accounting guidance and entry review when questions arise. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor degree in Accounting, 3+ years of Controller-level experience, hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, and intermediate Excel skills.
