We are hiring a Payroll & People Data Specialist to join a Global MNC in the Oil & Gas industry. Location: KL Eco City. Employment Type: 1-Year Contract (Renewable). Salary: Up to RM7,500. Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM. Work Arrangement: Hybrid – 2 Days WFO / 3 Days WFH. Key responsibilities: manage and maintain Payroll & HR data with a strong focus on accuracy and data integrity; manage payroll processes either in-house or through external vendors, ensuring timely and accurate processing in compliance with statutory requirements; handle payroll-related issues, payroll accounting, taxation, legislation and data analysis; support Time & Attendance processes including work schedules, public holiday calendars, time settings and calculation rules; provide payroll and compensation data to support Compensation & Benefits and Mobility activities; monitor local payroll legislation and advise relevant stakeholders on changes and requirements; manage payroll vendors including performance monitoring, contract management, onboarding and invoice processing; support internal and external audits relating to payroll and HR data; identify opportunities for process improvement, automation and digitalization; participate in system enhancements, UAT, process optimization and payroll-related projects; provide guidance and knowledge sharing to junior team members and new joiners. What we are looking for: strong experience in Payroll and HR Data Management; good understanding of local payroll legislation and statutory requirements; experience with SAP HR/HR systems is an advantage; exposure to payroll vendors and stakeholder management; strong analytical and problem-solving skills; good communication skills with the ability to work with regional/global stakeholders; experience in process improvement, automation or digitalization projects is an added advantage; able to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
