SAP ABAP BRIM RAR Consultant is a specialized technical and functional professional who designs, builds, and maintains revenue recognition and billing integrations using SAP ABAP within SAP BRIM (Billing and Revenue Innovation Management) and SAP RAR (Revenue Accounting and Reporting). Core Role & Responsibilities: Integration & Development: Connects SAP BRIM modules—such as Convergent Invoicing (CI), FI-CA (Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable), and Subscription Order Management (SOM)—with SAP RAR using Revenue Accounting Items (RAIs). Rule Engine Configuration: Implements and customizes business rules using BRF+ (Business Rule Framework plus) to automate Performance Obligation (POB) determinations and price allocations.
